Using avocado skins and pits, you can give a second life to clothes you may have stained or make feel like a brand new piece of clothing all over again. This process takes time but such a fun way to use your food waste.

Supplies needed:
🥑3 - 6 avocado skins and pits
🪣 large pot
👚white/light coloured t-shirt

Process:
Pre-wash t-shirt (optional soda ash bath)
Bring a pot with avocado skins and pits to a boil
Let simmer for an hour, then leave overnight
Next day remove skins and pits, then bring back to a boil
Presoak t-shirt in water, then add to dye bath
Stir for the first two minutes, then every 10 minutes for the next hour
Rinse, dry and wear!
